The Century Arms Mini Draco chambered in 7.62x39mm is a compact and portable, pistol version of the venerable AK47. This mini-sized powerhouse packs a big punch thanks to the heavy projectile and ballistic nature of the 7.62x39mm round which remains effective even when fired from shorter barrels. The Mini Draco weighs in at just 5.65 lbs with a 7.75″ hard chrome-lined, hammer forged , threaded barrel and overall length of just 17.5″. The Mini features a stamped receiver, standard AK controls and compatibility with most AK parts as well as all AK magazines. Internally the Mini differs from the standard AK in it’s use of a short gas piston and polymer buffer pad to keep the bolt carrier group in place while cycling. Like most AKs, the Mini Draco has earned a reputation for it’s rugged reliability. The Draco is made in the Cugir plant in Romania and imported By Century Arms. Named from the Latin word for Dragon, the reliable Draco is an outstanding backpack or truck gun that is sure to provide hours of fun shredding paper or pinging steel at the local range.
